After a strange aligning of the planets Jupiter and Alderon 5, the greatness of Festivus has been realised. Merging the talents of Gillian Binks, Gosnells stalwart Luke Mettner and Hilton new boy Paul Dunville, Festivus is truly the trio for the rest of us. It all started in 2003. Paul, a gifted but flawed Classical Guitarist, was selling maracas in the dark dingy ghetto of Willetton for a buck, just to get by. Luke, a heavy down at the local watering house, happened to stumble across Paul in a drunken stupor. "Scuse me sir, do you sell Drints???" he moaned... not once, not twice but 5 times in 5 weeks.

Finally enough was enough. Paul went and got him and Pepsi Max and that was that. Luke swore, on the "Brown Town Salute," that he would never drink alcohol again and decided to parlay his passion for the beers into the tunes. Paul and Luke then wandered the streets aimlessly for nigh on 40 days and 40 nights. Surviving on tinned beans topped with dodgy cheese stolen from the garbage receptacles of The Foundry in Cannington, they had to keep their eye on the prize. They were not looking for excitement... or even for a good time... They were looking for the missing piece of the puzzle. After spending their last 20 bucks on an ad in the local rag, they were convinced this was it, their ticket to stardom. Initial excitement of potential prospects soon waned however. Girl after girl tried to match the musical genius of the two stars in the making. None succeeded. Then Gillian walked down the dark alley they now called home. (Passing the infamous car park that once made her horny) The boys were on their way, with the young and vibrant Gilli now leading the way with her critically acclaimed voice.

The world was now their oyster as the pearl had been found! Gilli no longer has to teach young street kids how to break dance for two bucks an hour and Paul and Luke have since moved out of their cardboard box residence. Luke, somehow, has even managed to get a little corner garden and plant his seed. Come down and see the transformation for yourselves. It is truly remarkable.
